rom10 problems

I have been running a 301.013 1 tsop with "all in one"and it has worked great but now the keys have changed and i want to update the keys. can i just apply a new key patch to the "all in one"?

I take no credit for this whatsoever all credit goes to mad scientist as he is the one that wrote the code and the D2C file.

This patch and code will enable you to change your keys on your rom10 in about a minute without having to unlock your card and doing a clean and all the work. If the keys roll all you have to do is paste them into the D2C patch and send them to your cam and the keys will get updated. This is a pretty slick way of doing it.

This file assumes that you already have a working rom10 to 102 bin already up and running and know how to get it working.

Steps

1> open a clean rom10 image
2>apply rom10 to102 patch
3>apply your tiers patch (3M)
4>apply the "patch to allow D2C"

after ensuring you change your password and time zone etc etc etc, savet the image, then write it to a clean rom10. So basically all you are really doing is adding one more patch to your rom10>>the allow D2C patch. All the rest you do is the same as before.

Now the key change D2C

open with notepad and paste in your new keys and password and save the changes

AABBCCDDAABBCCDD= your password.......has to match the one on your cam

To change keys on cam

insert cam into iso
start NagraEdit
click on Comm tab
open D2C
Test D2C
then send D2C........that is it
should take about 10 seconds and you are good to go.

You need a file called D2C Key Change.Zip

hers a better way to redo keys as long as you know your password try this
go to tools unlock card with password
read card
apply the below patch
write to card test card be sure read fails

watch Tv!!
