I'm a newbie and am looking for an inexpensive FTA receiver and can get a Traxis DBS-3500 pretty cheap. Any feedback on this receiver? Other recommendations are welcome.

I don't Think I would spend money on a Traxis DBS3500. I checked on a 2500 back 2 months ago. I could never find Rom Bin Software to update the receiver. It is strickly a FTA and will always be a FTA.
Check EBay for the CW600S, or the Pantec 2500, CW600 has support and it in th esame price range as the Traxis.
Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for your 2 cents. I'm currently a Dish subscriber and am hoping I can replace my leased receiver and pick up a couple of stations that MLB blacks out because I live in another MLB market. What is the likelihood I can plug a receiver into my current setup (2 dishes), download bins, point the dish and watch?
