What's with the 'Green dots'?

So what da dilly with the green dots under the members names? ie:...on a distinguished road, ...brilliant future, etc...??
Why do some have more than others? Just wondering...

They are called "reputation points".... If someone likes you or a post you made, they can add to your rep....
I kinda like the "brilliant future" idea though.... Green dot to you....

Also every post you make adds a point to your reputation. Mods' and Admins' vote counts for more. You can take away as well add to it.
