Has anybody know what a PTNETWRK.VXD is ? i get when i try to setup internet connection on a win 98 laptop.i did a net scan with no luck ,
any help woud be appreciated

VXD needs to run within another windows application if you don't understand find local help that does and came remove it for you.

Haven't heard this file name in a while. Usually associated with Novell. Try going to your Control Panel/Internet Options/Connections/Lan Settings and make sure there is a check mark in the box labeled "Automatically detect settings"
