Great thanks. I read the setup file on here. but do i use port one or leave it at x
I have a switch and a dual lnb i want to watch 110 and 119
I found all the files i need I think. I found a channel file wich i hope is the right one. now all i have to do is find the birds in the sky right now is is looking for the single I am moving my dish i hope it works the same way as my bev ird and tells me when i lock on to the bird.
any help would be great thanks.

I am having the same problem finding a signal.

Does the reciever work like the BEV or DTV where it will tell you when you are pointing at the Sat? Or does a person need to change some settings on the VS2000 Extreme Reciever?

I had the dish set up with a 2800 so I didn't use the vewsat to set it up. But you will see green bars on the side of the screen when you are in the set up your antenna part of your set up. I don't know if you can get sound or not I didn't have to do that.

I used a bell ird to set mine up. bell tells you what sat your on.
remember dish is lower then bell and over west of the bell birds
I am in the oshawa area 20 minutes east of toronto

been running viewsat since november, easy to set up and program, to get your sats in, menu, installation, second line use remote arrows. choose your sat, echostar 6.8 or 7,move your dish till top line reads same as second line. check your side bars, should be green with 60% or more s and q,still in red with high %, check your lnb and switch around your tps to your bars are green, do a channel scan, watch tv, make sure you have latest pgm file
