pad 1 gounded, still getting dcu error

my 2800 reciever is being a bitch.I ground my 1 pad, but still getiing dcu peek error!Anyone else having problems with there 2700-3700.My 301-10 never have problem ,except for slow error, but thats no big deal.I have never had this much prob.with recievers.

Sure it's pad 1?

On the bottom, receiver in your lap, front towards you, left pad.

If Skinerd's solution doesn't work, go to my Thread-2800 Won't detect by Redneckbcer & see if you have the same problems as us. Hopefully we will get an answer. Thanks

I had same problem on a 3900, grounded pad, rebooted computer, went into parallel port, tried different setting and got it to work. I had pretty much given up on it,but it started working, also, i had to de solder the pad before hooked the ird up and got tv.
