Hi, I have been running a 3100-10 converted to dish, using atmega. Everything was working fine untill a few weeks ago when I started losing channels. Since that started no matter which atmega fix I try I never seem to get all channels. sometimes I get a few porn and a few ppv's and all the hbo's ect. and sometimes I get more ppv's and almost no hbo's, show time, ect. Anyone have any idea what's going on with my system.

Perhaps it is time to convert to a more current and complete pfg.
Or, create your own pfg using TCFD III (3.01)

Thanks for your response. I am using the most current atmega file in the vip downloads, la corneta plus ultra, as well as trying various older ones that seem to work all about the same. Sorry but I have no experiance at using TCFD.

Sounds like your only getting "one sat" did you try a "Check switch"...?

If you have no experience in using TCFDIII, then, you should get some. Download it and try it.
Most current does no mean the pfg you like the best or the one you originally installed and worked well at the time (before a half dozen changes were introduced). Most current means a pfg that was modified (to indluce all of the new whistles and bells) most recently. Post a copy of your la corneta plus ustra and let me try it. I then, can give you a better answer.

Thanks for the help. I am pretty sure I am receiving on both sats, but I will do a check switch. The file la corneta plus ultra can be found in public downloads under atmega file # 4 . I have downloaded TCFD and will give that a try.

You may want to consider using the satvia fix.
It takes the updates, seems to run well so far!

I downloaded and tried the pfg you are using. Although it is a very limited pfg, it does function. The new whistles and bells have not been addad as yet. No provision to add additional tiers, no inclusion of the variable blackout string change. Without the new updates, locals can't be remapped to the 2-99 channels.
It would appear that there is a diflugalty in the conversion you made to dish. Maybe there were some corrupted TSOPs or an invalid EEPROM used in the conversion. I would suggest downloading the files needed and start the process all over to insure the conversion was done and complete.
You may try the "All in one fix kit" and use the files and programs found there.
hxxp://www.dssevolution.com/forums/showthread.php?p=377412#post377412 (All in one kit). Change the hxxp to http and enter the URL into your address line for IE (or whatever browaer you are using).
Sorry I can't be more definite and tell you exactly what to do to fix the problem.

Thanks for your help. I"ll check out that site and keep reading. I"m pretty new at working with my IRD. It was setup for dish by someone else and I have just been writing to my atmega, worked for quite awhile, but no more. I have an untouched 3100 I was going to try bev with, but I got a bit spooked when jtaged it and save the tosp but was unable to read it with flashedit it in order to change the Ird and Boxkey as directed in the satvia dish N2 read me file. Maybe some one could point me in the right direction.

Dunno if you're still needing help on this but it should be pretty easy to change the IRD and boxkeys in Flash Edit.
It's recommended to use Flash edit beta 9 version
Make sure you enter the IRD number in in IRD hex.
otherwise, as I found out duh, it won't work
Or, if you can't get flash edit to work, are you sure you loaded the 2 tsops, flash 1 (uc22) and flash 2 (uc23) into the two slots? And are operating the program right?
Or is it telling you the tsops are corrupt and it doesn't want to load them for your own good, or words to that effect? Then it means you have a tsop problem.
Or, if you can't read nothing at all, then I guess it could be a problem with the jtag or connection, but it seems not if you were able to save it with jkeys.
keep trying, good luck

I just downloaded the TCFD III and read the help and read this forum. I assume that I have to change the box keys and ird AGAIN. I just did this for the first fix that came out and it is still working fine I just dont have my locals. Why did they not set it up with the same numbers as all the original fixes used?

Thanks for all the help. I think I found the problem, reloaded feb 14 fix. redid checkswitch a couple of times and finaly without any checkmarks and recovered all my programming on dish. Still could use some help with bev, I would like to run satvia but after jataging saving the tsop file flashedit produces an error when I try and read it. It seem to be all there, as it is around 2 mb which is about the same size file as the unmodded tsop file in downloads.
