jtaged my 2700 everything went ok until I got to eeprom programming I get an err-error reading from DCUcontrol register and could not initiate access.Could someone help thanks lunavato

my simple homemade jtag had 100 ohm resistors on all connections except the ground. then it started not detecting the IRD. i checked each of the six wires from one end to the other (the complete cable-from ird to PC).
all conductors read o.k. with a meter.
i restarted the PC twice,still nothing(wouldn't detect).(multiple IRD's)
i took the resistors out and ran all wires direct(no resistors) and the jtag is working again. i know this may be a little off of this topic but i thought it might help someone out in the future.-kinda wierd how it worked well with the resistors then suddenly stopped detecting.
same 25 pin cable-same jtag,but after taking the resistors out!-it is working fine again. the resistors must drop the voltage too low for the desktop to detect ird. anyone else have this happen?

Had similar problem, built simple jtag, soldered everything, double checked, wouldnt detect. went back, used oddcircuits topside jtag, soldered pad one to ground, worked, but had to de solder pad one before unit would work.
