501 rebooting by itself after mod with P063.

Traded for this 501 and it is rebooting itself every time I go to page 2 in the System Info menu. Page 2 shows grey "pixellation" , then reboots.

Person used modded P063 to marry. This is when the problem occurred.

I got his P304 file and modded it and erased U6 and U7 and flashed U7 along with virgin eprom, still same problem is occurring.

Any suggestions as I don't want to keep flashing it to test if someone has had similar problem and solved it. Thanks for any help.

A modded flash will do that, just stay out of the 2nd page of the sys info.

Easy fix… go to menu, locks, lock system. Enter in password, hit ok, cancel all the way out. Now go back and remove password. 2nd info screen should be fixed.

sg4440, your suggestion works and I can get page two in sys info, thanks.

However when flashed modded P304, I cannot get into Dish Pointing menu to allow for check switch etc. Problem similar to "ranman". Goes to 5 of 5 and reboots.

I have done several 501s in past and have not had this issue. I can flash back to Original P304 and problem is gone, so I know it is a tsop problem. Í am using for ROM10. Any help appreciated.
