Is a 3100 010 a Dish Pro Receiver or not?

Reason I am asking is I might want to buy a LNBf and saw 1 for Dish Pro receivers and the other one for legacy.

I am wondering what I should get and WHY one or the other?

Yes, the 301.10/3100 is a DP receiver. Still, I'd go with the legacy lnb.

go Dishpro lnb unless you plan on running old legacy recievers also.FTA's will work with Dishpro Lnb's also

Why?

Most of the FTA receivers are supposed to be compatable with legacy lnb's now days too.

The legacy lnb's are lower voltage and more reliable. In addition, they support every model of receiver, no adaptor required. Only drawback to a legacy lnb is a much longer swich check procedure.

Thanks guys

Just thought I'd mention that I thought that I read somewhere that Dish Pro LNBs had a builtin sw21 inside of them and legacy did not. Is this correct?

Also I read that many FTA receivers are not compatible with the Dish Pro LNBs, again is this correct?
