i just wanted to know how everyone elses 301.13 no rsa(SK bypass) is working with sat via atmega.
i had a tomico(n2v9) type file on it up until a couple days ago. before i put no rsa on the 301.13. ird will freeze for a few secs 2-3(maybe1-2) times an hour.it did with the N2V9 also
i have the most current keys on the atmega file.
seems like this file sat via is about the same as before in performance.
i am not complaining at all, just wondering if there is something that i can do to prevent freezing. i do have the ird set to ask permission for downloads.
just curious, i know this no rsa is groundbreaking(the next step).
any suggestions about the freezing?
it works great anyways.anyone else?-thanks

BTW, to the above post
i was running satvia no rsa V2 on atmega(with wrong zipcode) when experiencing slight freezing.
i just reprogammed the atmega to satvia no rsa V4(with my zipcode) and current keys for D**H. i will post my results soon.
thanks to all that made this satvia no rsa mod.
i know alot of time and effort went into these files and i am greatful!
maybe V4(and not a 4 digit zipcode-my fault) will solve my slight freezing.anyhow thanks again!

You'll have to deal with the freezing, no matter which pfg you use. Why some setups freeze more often than others, who knows. I've run two identical setups, right down to the flashes, side by side at the same time - and one froze twice as often as the other.
NoRSA has the advantage of being able to run different means of testing in the same receiver without having to change anything - 101, 102, atmega, rom10...just mix 'n match. Plus, the less mods you make to the flash, the less likely you'll be a target for an ECM, should Dish/Bev ever start sending them down.

good point twostep,
i really like the atmega because it is really user friendly.easy to load a pfg. file and watch tv.
i'm sure the ecm's are just flying down here as we speak.
the satvia v4 pfg seems to be working great-no freeze so far just for the record. my v2 froze last night within 10 minutes after first try then 2-3 times an hour.v4 no freezing as of now-about 20-30 minutes.
i can live with the freezing.your right about having 2 setups acting differently.nothing is perfect plus there are so many factors involved.
no complaints from me-it's not in me to complain.
the V4 is working better right now. i am amazed that how many years the atmega card has been going strong. plus still has alot of support compared to some other gadgets and IRD's that have come out. it's trustworthy-like an old friend. it might be a little outdated as far as new technology goes but it can take the place of any card so far and it can be used over and over again without it getting locked-ecm'd to the point of no return!
i'm gonna enjoy it while N2 lasts, what's D**H gonna throw at us next?
the atmega will still be there!(i hope!)-thanks

yeah, FTA is cool!
the IRD's are fast too! but the program guides are not as good-but they do get the job done and are easy to operate, that's for sure.i own one and love it
have a good one.thanks-jmf38
