The dumper is on the files page. Expect full blown ROM103 hacks any minute now. THat means the 611 HDTV PVR and 211 HDTV with the new MPEG stuff is now programmable.

Sweet!!! So it took approximately 8 months ti fully hack Nagra 2. I thought this time would never arrive. They're are some pretty sharp people in this 'hobby'. Congrats and thanks to them all.
Doesn't the 322 have a onboard 103? What rom is on the 322 if not the 103?

mili when you refer to the new mpeg stuff do you mean mpeg 4 receivers? because i dont seem to see a 611 but a VIP622 receiver and a vip211 receiver is thsi what you meant? or different ones ? note: vip622 says DNASP 206 dsh783 what rom is this?????????? thanks.
I just got into mine 103rev305 Its from my 921. It tok me about 3 minutes to get into it. Do i need to wait till a new reader comes out or can i use n2edit7?

It is no joke, it started out as one but then the real deal was released. The 211 and 611 is ROM103 or the new unhacked ROM110 and yes I will have 322, 522 921 and hope soon some 211 and 611 modded for sale. This is a great news for us and a bad one for DishNet.

Dumping the firewalled rom isn't quite as easy as dumping the eep. ;) I hope the guys/gals use some common sense with their new conquests.

So,how long before we see Nagra 3? This just has to speed that up,no? On the other hand,how often can Charlie do card /system swaps before he goes bankrupt.
Maybe they ought to work on a DAVE hack,LOL

It doesn't seem cost effective to do a card swap when the last one only knocked us out for a few months. Also, going to the integrated/card-less irds forces Charlie to replace whole irds on the next swap; that is exponentially more expensive.
I know as soon as there is concrete info on 522's I'll have one going, cuz I love my 510, except for when the women changes channels when I am recording.

The problem with a public hack of the rom103 is there will be MANY high dollar receivers KILLED. I couldn't care less about losing a 322, but I do care about losing my 522,921 and 942's. I'm not trying to be a dick but for some reason freetver's don't seem to understand that coders actually like to have something of value for ourselves, but the gimme gimme gimme never stops it seems. :(

all dish has to do is activate the card slot and replace with nw cards not recievers.so out of 3 rom10x cards,3 rom10x cards are now hacked.as for killing t-sops,they will be j-taged and repaired just like every box produced b echostar.A new game is started.Hackers 3,dishnet none.HEHEHE,gotta love it.Free tv for at least 2 more years.

Its not a done deal I am from 10x and can say yes the dumper is out But thats it!! The Top guys there said it will Not be let out to Public untill the 1st EMC comes down!! They said we have enough to play with right now!! Rom 10,11,101,102!! No need for it Well thats what the big guys said. So I would not hold my breath on it happening anytime soon!! The Dumper was leaked. And To stop that The 3m they made for the 103. Has not been uploaded on there site and no one expects to do so eather. So No way of a leak this time!! And from what I hear Less then 5 people have it. Just My 2cents!!

All the coders do for us, giving us this N2 hack for free, if they want to sit back on the 103 hack for their benefit , then so be it, they deserve at least that.

I wouldn't say anyone is sitting on a hack for his/her own benefit, it's more along the lines of it takes a heck of alot of time to understand it once it is dumped, and all a release does is insure a speed up of countermeasures and card replacements and if released before enough study, you've locked yourself out :( . I don't know if anyone noticed, but there has now been an update to the new S0x cards :( If you wonder why they did that, it's because all updates are for security. Did it happen because a release was made for the rev106/107-242/243's or did it have to do with the 103 stuff, who knows, but it probably could have been avoided if some thought was put into the consequences of such a release. Shit, even Penga told the guys not to release the rev106 stuff and in someone's excitement or lack of judgement it leaked out :( . Anyway as Forrest would say, "that's all I have to say 'bout that" :)

The rom10 was great, it works, the fta/dvb are working, the new devices are working, the emu's are, why do we need more.

I agree with holding back.But,I'm wondering why you say the 106/7 script was let out too soon? There are/were more and more of those revs popping up at the time and it won't be long before we all need the 106/7 rev on our cards. What would have been the right time,in your opinion?And would spoofing the rev be enough for awhile yet? So far,the most popular blockers don't do that.

Think of it as a card game that you can never win, but you want to play as long as you can for the least amount of money per hand. If your opponents thinks you have a pair, he will beat you with two pair. If you show your hand of 4 kings, your opponent that you cannot beat has no choice but to pull 4 aces out and so on. So when chuckie woulda raised us with two pair, we coulda pulled out 3 of a kind, but now he knows we got three of a kind cause we were drunk and stupid at the card table while he's been quiet and sober. ;)
I really am thinking Chuck got cocky and did not leave enough easter eggs or footprints whatever and thought is was not going to get glitched and now they are doing damage control because if they tried to take us out at the moment then real live people will get took out on legit subs too.
I feel alot of the firmware updates is to see how we react(not me per say I just use others work :)

Honestly, there was still plenty chuckie could have done with n1. People are fooling themselves believing chuckie can't do anything. A bud and I were playing "riddle me this" and wrote an emm months ago that would take out all the freeware in north america and never touch a sub and have since come up with dozens of others.
It looks like freeware is gonna run amuk again though. I'm hearing there is going to be a freeware rom103 release today. Stupid time for a release in my opinion, I've logged chuckie and bev testing the stream and receiver hits are coming very soon. Most of the new receivers can't be jtag'd and the hit they have been testing won't affect any subs.

Ya know, a "tester" kinda likes the game of having to fix his card.... the constant hits stop the "mini dealers" from setting up 100 of their friends. The freeware 3m's were put out over and over to steer dave as far away as possible from the private method's ;)

It really does get old to have a cam never go down.
That one is for the wife... I would make notes as to what friends had what and I usually would know they were down before they did.
It was fun to try diferent things and still kinda is.
This is way more fun than ham radio or morris code hobbies and the little electronic kit radio shack used to sell for us to build and all it did was light up a little lamp

i wasn't trying to flame him by any means, i just didn't know what was interesting about it. -- maybe i should have said that.
the vip hack is compromised. 103's are spoofed (not 102's) they have to be otherwise they wouldn't work. (encryption)
