atmega /dish system not working now

is there anything going on in the stream that would make the atmega card act f-up? I have been going strong since the superbowl but today I turn on dish and get the " multiswitch not detected" I go to system setup and i get green 98% on both 110 and 119, it sometimes even goes to the screen for downloading tv guide but after 100% download still comes up the multiswitch problem. Double checked all connections even put my coolsat onto the cable and I get atleast half the channels, so i assume the sw21 switch is fine . and all cable lines are good.

any ideas or thoughts onto whats going on? thanks for any help

Same problem here. I unplugged the ird and waited a few minutes. Plugged it back in and no error. It did come back again about three hours later. Unplugged it again and ok again. Also I only get this error when I try to watch certian channels. Have this problem on two 2700's, 3900 and a 301.13. The 2700's using tsop modded fix and the 3900 and 310.13 the SatVia fix.

I have yet to try unplugging unit but noticed 4 out 10 times if i simply turn the ird off for 1min or so all channels seem to be there but if i use the up or down remote button at a fast clip to change the channels it immidiatley goes back to switch problem I will try unplugging unit. and see what happens. i'll let you know

Ok i did what you did ceb 1557 i unplugged ird for about 10 min plugged back and everything so far is working fine. able to use the up down scroll for fast channel change without the "switch" problem nag. program guide is up and running. I notice the bloomberg channel on the guide says "channel available for upgrade without a call" I don't know what these means but I ain't doin shit. bloomberg sucks any way.

oh yea i also noticed that i DID NOT have the "ask permission to download" checked. I usually have this checked but probably forgot to do it when the superbowl down time had me screwing with my reciever. This might be the problem. I am using the tomico fix and the tsop for all ird file.


oh well hope this is the worst of problems for us, anyway i'll keep you updated on my recievers ability to keep channles going. thanks for all your help people

The same here, but one change I have two atmegas with diffrent programig tiers and one you can watch TV but it will not charge the guide and the other just mark error 004 version 207 in two 301.13
nothing wrong with the switch since I have a 2700 with rom 102 hooked to the same switch and cable to check it and worked fine?? Version of software 835.
Is there an atmega fix that can sove the issue or do we need to get the upgrade software and reload again all new TSOP information???
My question is ? does the update (all the vid mode etc nag) will fix this? or is useless I have the Tomico fix :eek:

Don't know, but satvia fix w P246 on 3100.10 been working fine so far..didn't notice anything last night or this morning

Had same problem with 6 of 7 irds, through process of elimination , change the 6 that was having this problem to the no rsa mod , updated each ird and all has bee working great since 3am this morning, of the 6 only one was with the current update it was a 3900, restreamed it (same fw rev as I had) been running great.
just for fun put rom10-101 mod back on used same card (not reprogrammed) still running great,
