Is anyone up with 501,508 or 510 with rom 10 to 102. Tried updating keys but no go.Firmware is 308. Any help here?Thanks:)

well if your receiver updated from 304 to 308 and your getting just a black screen then you will have to reflash your receiver either back to 304 or find the patch to re do yours to 308. Anytime you take updates then you need to reflash receiver if your using rom 10 to 102....

Can someone explain in detail, what we need to do to get up and running since this firmware update? How do you flash back to 304. My 501 has been up and trouble free for so long, that I've forgot what I need to get it going again.

Jumbo768 Thanks I finally figured it Out.I was a little foggy for awhile:D
Old school What I did is go to file section and got a Modded 304 TSOP and 75 tsop with virgin eprom.erased bothe 1 and 2 wrote the virgin eprom and flash 2 at firmware 75 connected to sat.let it update. Then came back and erased flash 2 and wrote modded flash firmware 304 back to tsop. watched Tv after running check switch. Hope you could follow my babble.The smoke is getting a little thick in here this morning:D

Why would you let a P075 update then erase it?? Why even bother with the P075??

P075 is just to marry with and yours was already married, no??
