Aren't these loaders powered by 9VDC??? I have seen one and it has a 12VAC power supply with it.. I told the person not to use it.. All the units I ever saw were 9VDC. [voltage varys] but most are DC. Unless the unit has a Haif wave or full wave rectifier circuit built into it to rectify AC to DC, which is very unlikely.. Let me know if I am right on the power supply for this unit.. thanks

you know i asked the same thing mounths ago and every one said i should use dc i too also said the bit about the rectifier circuit and i still got the same thing so i tryed 9-12vac and it didn't read right some times i would get a ATR then other times i would not, so i tried 9-10.5vdc and what do you know it worked i started poping card right and left, i now think that the rectifier circuit is there to clean up any ac that is getting past the power supply as it needs a clean source of power to work right:cool:

You know bob, I opened it up and it had a rectifier and capacitive network. But only one rectifier not two ,so its not a half wave rectifier ckt , thats why its getting AC ripple in the ckt. So with one rectifier it will pass the DC. If you used it with DC and it worked , then thats the way it will be used... thanks
