Greetings all,

I hate to beat a supposed dead horse but I need a little help.

I tried to switch a 301.013 over to Satvia yesterday. I didn't have any luck with that at the moment so I decided to just put tomico back on so I'd have have something.

Now all I'm getting is a blank screen & previews.

I've tried reflashing eeprom & card. I'm using the current keys. IRD & BK info in jkeys appears to be correct. Still not getting anything.

I'm almost positive that I'm doing what I did to get this unit working previously.

I've searched & read many, many posts about this problem. Most of them seem to be key issues but I don't think that's whats going on here.

Any suggestions? I'm going to try reflashing tsops again & see what that does but if anyone else has had this problem, I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks,
lud

Hey Lud (means crazy in croatian)
I did the same thing yesterday. finally decided to go with satvia. I got fed up with check switch too.
Anyway,
here is my generic procedure.
1. FlashEditbeta9
I got the P341 virgin from the tSOP public downloads (301.13 single).
It was DIAI build but I really didn't care because skinerd said about a 1000 times in doesn't matter on 301.13 receivers and if I mention to fix that he'd shoot me. :)
Anyway, I modify the ird# and box keys according to satvia no#.
Then I fixed the CRC.
Then I applied the scrip to bypass the SK.
and saved my new TSOP and eeprom. You can just make virgin eeprom.
2. Jkeys.
Vidmod on.
Erase 5 times and new batteries. I had a hell of a time completing the dang thing until I got some new batteries.
Flash both the new eeprom and tsop.
3. Program the ATMEGA with Satvia ATMEGA dish v4 from public donwloads.
Make sure the keys are correct. Check general dish discussion forum sticky.
I didn't customize anything yet on that pfg just for testing but my ppv and porn are showing.
Let us know how it goes.

Thanks EM!

I'll need to give Satvia another shot once I get a better station setup for testing. It's kind of a pain with the way my bench is organized at the moment.

I did finally get things working with Tomico again. I just started over & reflashed everything again & this time it worked. Not sure what I did wrong on my previous attempt.

Looking forward to losing the check-switch error real soon!

Thanks again,
lud

PS..."lud" really means crazy in Croation? That's funny :-) Fits me to a T!
