i have the superdish 105. I have tried with and without the switch to get the signal of 119 and 110 and i haven gotten anything. I try pointing it near the same direction as my dish300(poor mans dish 500) then edging a little by little to hopefully get a some sort of signal. getting really frustrated. i guess i will need to go get a compass to find AZ 208. i have verified the skew at 111 and elevation at 42. the Support pole is level and within the level hash marks of my straight level. So not sure what else to try. ANother thing is that the DP34 wont pick up the 105 lnb. I have the 119 on port 1, 110 port2, and 105 port 3. but no matter where i put the 105 it shows NC. would not having the latest firmware have anything to do with it? im at p209. any ideas?

Sometimes it's the "stupid stuff" this is not my strong area, however I've learned over these fifty year's to check the "stupid stuff' first .I'd get a meter and see if my connections are good pole to pole on coax (no short) then short one end on purpose to see a "close" on a ohm's meter. All the best.

Don't bet the farm on what the chart or the IRD gives you as the correct elevation. Every 105 SD I've installed has been 3-5 degrees higher than what it calls for.
Peak the 105 LNB first as it's inline with the mast arm. Your skew setting should be correct and you shouldn't need to adjust it any further. Once the 105 is peaked (connect ONLY the 105 coax to port 1 on the DP 34) then check and adjust the remaining 110 and 119 LNB's/ Expect a signal strength of around 75 for the 105....that's normal. Once you show good signal on all 3 LNB's then run Check Switch and you should be in business.

actually i left the skew and elevation alone since it was already set at those points. This superdish was setup before at an apartment complex. i just removed it. The skew/elevation that it was set at is the same calcs the ird is showing me so it must to correct.
