Hello all.

I've been reading and going at this for the last 8 hours and cannot get my 2700 to work with the new SATVIA files and instructions.
I have followed all the instructions "satvia fix for dummies C&P" several times now and each time I get the same result which is all the preview channels working and all other channels are black screen. Also, I noticed that everything is locked, all channels, all ratings set, and the system was locked with no password. All seems quite odd and I have not seen anyone with this kind of troubles. Has anyone been successful with a 2700/2800 unit?
I started with an original TSOP which I wrote back to the IRD and then let the unit take the update then I extracted the TSOP with JKEYS and the modified the file with Flashedit (tried Flashedit 2.1beta4, then version 2.0a2, then version 2.1beta9), modified and saved the file as per instructions, then re-opened the file and created the EEPROM from it and wrote them both as instructed using jkeys. Wrote the ATMEGA as instructed using the pfg file found on this site and did the check switch a number of times today, but still not working.

Anyone have any ideas that I can try?

Thanks

Stinkdog

When you write a virgin eeprom all your setting under menu will have to be redone. Go to unlock system it will ask for password just click okay dont enter anything it will unlock the system. Make sure your version of satvia file has the correct keys. Sounds like your keys need to be updated. If that isn't the problem double check your ird / boxkeys on the flash. And when you say modified the flash do you mean changed ird / boxkeys only or ran fs script also. With the no rsa only change ird / boxkeys that is all.

You could also try another pfg... on 3100.10 I used the one that came in the satvia allin1FinalV2.

Thanks. I have edited the EEPROM with WONKA and set the locks off successfully. I had to rerun the check switch test for my SW21 to be recognized, but I still have the black screen for everything except the preview channels.
Where do I get the most recent keys for the SATVIA file? And are you referring to the keys while in JEEPERS? I click on GET and it gets *different* keys than are in the file. Is this not correct?
I have checked the TSOP files using Flashedit and they have the correct IRD and BOX keys and they match the "SatVia Dish N2 ATmega No RSA Mod V4.pfg" pfg file that I am using as well.

Thanks

Hmm. I cannot find that file. I only have "SatVia Dish N2 ATmega No RSA Mod V4.pfg".

Where did you get the "Final" version?

Thanks

That version should work but your better off putting the keys in manually. I think these are the correct keys
Key 0:9E 5B 7A 77 C0 FE 91 CA 4D 2A DC 33 D4 CD E3 75 Key 1:C5 6C 66 89 3A 32 D0 C9 24 2B F0 4F 03 68 06 92 Active

YUP. That did it! The first part of the keys were the same as in my file, but the second part was not. That seems to have made the difference.

Thanks All

I have the same problem that Stinkdog has i.e. password. Ok, I will try to just hit ok and unlock my box. I followed the same guide that Stinkdog did step by step, everything worked fine as far as box is concerned. But I have a question when writing to my atmega card with Jeepers. I am also using Satvia pfg v4 no rsa.
What do I have to select for Tiers in jeepers, what about zip code, and the local channels string?
In other words, the question is, do i need to change anything in jeepers besides the four keys?
I would appreciate if someone can help me so that i can get my 2800 which is at 853CAEA-N firmware up and running.

Thanks in advance.

If you dont change anything but your keys, it will get you up and running.
