iso pro. not writing??

in the past 24 hrs Ive been trying to write a patch file to my rom10. After doing a FULL clean, I run and test the patch, if O.K i then write???On the screen ,all is normal and it finally shows"written successfully"!! I go to READ, and nothing has been written?? {I shouldn't be able to read??}I checked the connections, nothing wrong as I can see. everthing was fine till just recently, so some problem has developed. Can anyone offer a suggestion to solve this puzzle--thanks Bjay

are you appling the patch to a clean image?
you have to read the card after cleaning it or clean it and open a clean image.
your applying the patch to nothing unless you are.

Fubr, thanks for the reply. this problem has just happened. Had no trouble writing to cams 36 hours ago!!. I suddenly realized that after writing, if I went to READ ,Iwas'nt locked out ???, and when I looked in the Eprom , nothing had been written.!! I have done 3 Full cleans before writing, so I'm just wondering if something has failed between Iso and 9pin cable to c/p?--checked --seems that I may need new cable??? F/d

does the image your writing have a card lock on it?
eprom tab scroll down to here is one example

I have left most of the rom 10 passwords as above and still get back in no problem.
Dont do as I do though I was curious as to why lock a rom 10 so I left the default password on the cards. two of them anyway and still can clean them when I want using unlocker d2c.
I dont know I havent been to concerened with this so not been paying it no attention.

Fubr, I have 2 rom10s, one was programmed with A.I.O, I got frm this forum. It was wide open till bout a week ago, then the porn went down. I tried to find a file for the other rom10,but no luck. I got the brilliant idea to make an image from the rom10 that was Up. I did that , and when I went to read it after,I couldn't see any tiers????It seemed like the card had been wiped clean/// It sure was'n't open when I tried it in the Rec. ---all red tiers?? So I'm wondering whats happening?? I,m just a amateur tester, no expert, so this has me puzzled . I dont have any unlocking problems, i use AABBCCDDetc.. I was just aware that when I read both rom10s, it shows Rec 16, should,nt it show 103 if the file is written correctly??d --F/D

just a thought ....after so many writes the cam will not accept any more ........just a suggestion...am worried about my 102 with the channels taking so long to accept video....maybe keep autorolling all the time???????????

Zim, thanks for your input. both cams are only 4months old and have only been written to a few times, but I know what you mean. Hopefully, they may have a long life!! O.K got a new cable today ,and all the problems went away ,both rom10s back up again -------- F/D

Ok I Created my tiers patch
now I read the card image and it is successfull.
I saved The virgin image to a bin file and also to several disc cd's.
now I go to tools per Mili instructions and click on apply patch
How do I get the patch into the box to apply?
