Firmware question Help???!!!

i have a 301 receiver and i kept getting that multi switch error, people told me to do the update thing but everytime i follow the instructions to get an update it doesnt come up. The update thing thats suppose to come up doesnt. can someone help me out on how to correctly make the firmware on my receiver get updated?

If you're getting the multi-switch error, it means your fix is (getting way) out of date, and cannot be fixed by simply doing the "update thing." The problem with many previous schemes is that they cannot take the update,.

I would recommend some readng (egads, never thought I'd say that) and satvia no rsa fix, specifically using the all-in-1 final v2pfg, which I uploaded here but for reasons unknown presently rests in the Rom 10 x Bin and patch file section
