when i JTAG my 301-10 I dont get proper info. I get symbols, The box keys keep changing if i hit Detect in Jkeys. Do i have to take an update before i can jtag the reciever. what could be going on.

Hi ...Did you try entering your model number manually and then hit detect..Usually I 've seen this if the TSOP is corrupted or wrong version..Good Luck

How do you enter you model number manually. The reciever is working still. How would i fix a corrupt TSOP or if i is the wrong version. i have checked all the wires with a OHM meter and the connections are great. i Have a digital TSOP lock on the unit and i have the phone jack JTAG that i made. I have tested the pins to make sure they are at the right spots and they are. Now on the 301-10 receiver the ground goes to a case ground right?

HI...On the bottom where it says IRD, hit the pulldown and choose your model..then hit detect....It also could be a problem with your digital TSOP lock..If the receiver is working why do you want to J-tag it??

JKEYS will not let me choose the IRD, i want to Flash it to get rid of the mutli switch error. and go to satvia TSOP. If it is the lock what do i do. the receiver was just flashed 2 months ago with no issues.
