Hi,
I'm usung a t911 green that i modded and every time i can unlock it in seconds but when i reset card (atr) it says ATR:FF this does not appear to be a valid ROM102 ATR. I can't read the card cause it keeps saying the card is locked. I know the card can't be looped because it works fine in the receiver plus i can unlock it. I chacked all the steps for the mod and i can't see anything wrong. I can not tell if the trace between pin 1 and 2 on the top is all the way cut but it looks like it. Would that trace do this if not cut all the way? This is a weird one for me and i don't know where to go from here so any help will be great.
Forgot to say that i get no ATR with ISO Programmer either.
TIA
what s/w are you using???????????
only reason I ask is my mik 3 in nagramaster will do the same thing if my ohms are to low..........

Thanks for the reply zim. I am using NagraMaster but i also use winexplorer. On my ohms if i set it below 12 it bottoms out and above 19 it takes longer but does the same ( i have a 25ohm rheostat). I get the same thing with a iso programmer and i forgot to say that this is on 2 cards and 2 t911! This is really getting to me. I may just have to get an old computer to try it. I have a 3400+ 64 bit system running 64 bit xp and 32 bit media center. Thanks

I get that message when I mistakenly try to use my modded Nexus to read the card instead of reading it with the ISO programmer.

Does it make a difference if the cards are new and never been activated or messed with ( came with my 501's and does show everything in system info but they have never been activated so can't tell any further than that )? I should be able to put the card in an ISO programmer and get a ATR reset with any software correct?
no to your first and yes to your second question.........

Am i wrong in my thinking that a card can not be looped if you can unlock it? I am really starting to second guess myself on that. I remember back with the hu if the atr was ff it was looped but i think it is different for dish is that right? I have tried 2 iso programmers and 2 modded t911's 2 ROM102's 1 is ver 103 and 1 is 105 now and every software i can find. I even tried an computer at my shop and no go. I am really thinking that i'm just out of luck with these cards and since i can't even get ATR reset with a ISO programmer ( this is the first thing i did before modding my first t911 and got ATR:FF so i thought well i have to unlock it first). Thanks for all your help and if you can think of something to try please let me know.
If no atr then mod loader would not report it as unlocked.
I had issues with my iso and I put another power supply on it and cutt it down some and also had to change to comm port 1 instead of comm 2. The settings are diferent on my machine.
OK then I had to use nagramaster and a d2c file called Rom102Readeeprom-A0FF-INTERCEPT3000-AFFF.D2c and sent it to the card and I was able to read the card in naggramaster and cleancodespace then write the clean image,
Then I was able to write and clean the card using the romcode private code on it.
Might be something for you to look in on.(the settings and voltage)

My Programmers are netsignia 210 and are powered by ps2 port. I also have an old all in one that does the same. I'll keep testing unless no thinks my programmers will work. Thanks
Never mind i think i figured it out. I remember something about dish needs a higher crystal so i'm going check in on that and see what i find.

That was the problem it needs a 3.6864 mhz crystal. Thanks to everyone but fubr saying check voltage got me thinking about the crystal. Hope this thread helps others with this problem.
Thanks again to all
I am actually using the 3.57 crystal on all my plastic from rom 3 to 102 on my iso......
