301.010 Rc Pb

301.010 working fine not even a hickup. had to flash it with corect info then let it update.
I could have updated first but what kind of test would that be. I wanted to see what it would do.
I did have issues with it upgrading but it was my doing. I was migrating it from a rom10to102.
I did not select the porn I used thier pre-made bin. still got porn.
Dont have my locals yet only been a few hours so maybe they come in later.
next time I program card I belive I will make a tier to add the two locals I can get.

now its waiting for a key roll or next update. Thinking this might last awhile though so I guess ole lady get this one.
Once I got my iso and my card unfucked it was easy to go thru the romcode, I even cleaned the card a few times to see if it would program back ok.

GREAT! I just got an open rom 102 card and am going to be testing with that receiver in a week or so. Glad to hear that it went so smoothly.

Just a few questions:

-For the flash, are you talking about flashing the tsop wit the provided ird and box key #'s

-For the update, are you talking about getting the receiver to p247?

-So it is all wide open using their "private bin"?

Sounds like this is the way to go, especially if you are just getting back into it like me and don;t have a lot of time to F around.

For the flash You use what you already have you change the ird and box keys to the numbers they provide as a private bin. Current rev for that model will do fine.

Yes for the update I changed ird# and BK's then let it update, took a long time :(

you can add to the already abundant tiers your locals and porn and some other internatinal channels.
No option to set ppv so I dont know how much $ is on it. I would assume if it ran out you could reload the card and use the "update" option on it to get a new tier list.
You can load card as many times as you like but it has to be the same card.

I don't think the gendt08 is involved with this process. There are sperarate instructions for the private romcode blocker

Step by Step Instructions
1. Unlock your card:



2. Click Manage Cams and you will see you have one cam that you can register. If you wish to program more cards, you will need to purchase more CAM credits from your dealer and redeem them at the Add Credits page.

3. Now you need to register your card's CAM Signature. Launch RomCode with your unlocked card inserted into your ISO programmer.

Note: RomCode Requires Microsoft.NET V1.1 to run. Make sure to download and install if you do not have it on your computer.

4. Click the "Live Update" button and RomCode will download any latest updates to the 3M, Tiers or the RomCode software.

5. Double click the Cam Signature, right click and copy.

6. Go back to the Manage Cams page and click register next to an unused CAM.

7. Right click into Cam Signature field to paste your CAM Signature. Name your CAM and click Register.

8. Click the "Cam Setup" button in RomCode, enter your Username and Password that you have registered with on www.romcode.com and click on "Add User"

9. Select your account in the "User Accounts" box and click on "Refresh CAM list" to see your registered CAM(s).

10. Close the CAM Setup window.

Important: If you are using your own Married Sub/ExSub card then skip to step 12. If you do not have your own Married Sub/ExSub then proceed with step 11.

11. Click the "Settings" button, check the "Use Private BIN" option and click "Save".

12. Select "3M Dish/BEV" from the "Tier Patch" dropdown.

13. Click the "Program Card" button.

If you opted to use our Private BIN then you will get a popup with a disclaimer that goes with using our Private BIN. Click OK and let the program do its thing. Once completed you will get another popup with the IRD and Boxkey. Write these down now.

14. When done click OK.

Congratulations! Your card is now programmed with our premium 3M/blocker. If you are using your own Married Sub/ExSub then insert your card into your IRD and watch TV.

If you opted to use our Private BIN you are not done yet. You will need to modify your TSOP with the IRD and Boxkey we have provided you with:

1. Use jKeys to save your TSOP flash.

2. Open Flash Edit

3. Select your IRD's model from the "Model" drop-down.

4. Browse for your own ird tsop file (the one you just saved with Jkeys)

5. "Open" your TSOP image in Flash Edit

6. Click on "Advanced"

Change IRD#(HEX) to the one we have provided you with.

Change Box Keys to the one we have provided you with.

7. "Check" on Fix CRC

8. Click on "Save As..." to save your modified TSOP flash.

9. Use jKeys to write the new modified TSOP to your IRD.

Connect your IRD and insert your ROM 101 or ROM 102 into your IRD and watch TV. Note that it will sometimes take 5-10 mins for the channels to come in.
