Programming Mili's Rom 102's

Hi everyone,

I received 2 Rom 102's from Mili.

They are both open and i can read them with N2Edit.

They dont have the DT08 on the cards.

Can i download a bin with the DT08, from the VIP site and write the bin to the card?

Then use Flashedit to change my TSOP's Boxkeys and IRD info to match the card?

Stick the card into the receiver and verify it works then remove the card, apply a blocker and reinsert the card?

I would like to use 1 of the cards in my 6000 and 1 in my 501. (the how to link at bellexpress.vu doesn't work for 501)

I've done lots of reading but still unsure if i can just write any old bin with DT08 onto my card.

Yes, you can write a public bin to the card and then change the TSOP to match. I would not put the card in the receiver without a blocker, so put the blocker on the card with your own password and then try to read it to make sure it is blocked. This will work fine for the 6000 and maybe for the 501. Some 501`s (re-manufactured) used GT chips and the SK type decryption, so the DT08 will not work.

I've tried several different public fixes for my 6000 and I continue to get the Error 020 "card not authorized for this receiver" message. I have tried them with a modified TSOP as well as the original TSOP. I am obviously doing something wrong not sure what though. Any suggestions?

020 = ird# does not match on card and ird BOTH have to be same for a card to work

I have modified the TSOPS in FlashEdit2...created new virgin EEPROM with suggested ird# (HEX) and BK's...then flashed both TSOPS and EEPROM.
Same results.
Is there a check I can do to verify if both card and ird have same numbers?
