Milli,

I just purchased one of your 811 units with the ROM102 interface card.

When I try and read the card, it fails. Here is the scenario.

I have two ISO programmers - a BlueNexus and a Mikobu. Both react the exact same way.
1. On the Nexus, I use either Switch 1 or switches 2 & 5 on.
2. The card resets just fine and returns ROM 102 REV:283
3. When I try to read the card, it fails after 20 retrys and says "Failed to Read Card"

1. On the Mikobu, the exact same thing happens. The programmer does a perfect reset, but when I try and read it I get the same error.

I have tried both N2Edit v.9 anbd NagraMaster - both yield the same results. The only difference being that with NagraMaster I get the message:

EEPROM READ FAILED. Card Locked???

Where do I go from here? I have tried various switch settings on the Nexus - 1 on only, 2 & 5 on, 4 on only.

I also have a "clean" ROM 102 at REV:105. Both programmers can read that card perfectly.

Thanks - but I think the problem is that the unit I was sent has a locked password on it. Without that password I can not redo my tiers , etc. I am hoping Milli reads this and comes back with the password they used to lock the box.

Update: Mili sent me a couple of other passwords to try and one of them worked to unlock the card. Problem solved....
