I now have successfully used romcode software to program a rom 102 card for a 2800 receiver. One thing i noticed while doing this. my receiver was at p834. I was using a rom 10 with the rom 10 to 102 software. I downloaded a couple of unmodified tsop's from the tsop list here on this site. The first one i tried was p854. I had no success. The receiver kept acting like it was trying to update. Being late into the evening i quit for the night. The next day with a fresh mind i knew it must have been a corrupted tsop because p854 was the latest revision and so the receiver should not have been trying to update. The power light would flash on and off. So i loaded on another unmodified tsop after fully erasing 3 times the p854 tsop. This time i had a p853 tsop. After using flashedit to change ird # and boxkeys to what romcode had given me i also flashed a virgin eeprom to the 2800. Inserted card, hooked up sat. feed, powered up and within 5 minutes had tv. After flashing on new tsop, you have to do a check switch.
