I have a Coolsat 5000 and right now am getting D**H channels. I want to get the Dir**TV channels since they are broadcasting the India vs. West Indies cricket matches.

Can I use my Coolsat and a new bin file and repoint my dish? Where to get the binfile if this is possible?

I wanted to get DTV with my CS5000 as well.

Does Not work for now, I think the encrytption is different.

Are you guys really that out of the loop? There's been no Dave available for a couple of years now. There are a ton of scams out there so be careful not to spend any $$$ til Mili clears it first. Believe me when Dave is cracked you will know about it. It will be front page news on every site in the world.

I've been out of the loop for...... Yes... Quite a few years.... Stopped testing when Charlie fukked up my receivers and needed to be reprogrammed.
I completetly stopped when he figured out how to kill the AVR boards and you had to buy an AVR every other week :eek: I should have some atmega 128s somewhere in a shoebox, together with all the rest... LMAO!!

Finally decided last week to get into the testing game again with FTA....:cool:

This Just In....

Apparently you CAN watch Direct TV with FTA.

The FTA receiver needs to be modified....

I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS.... Apparently It Works.

You need the following:

-HU Loader
-Boot Strap
-Black Sunday card

I gave you some info... Let me know if it works.

Sorry if thats what you think.... what I do know is that the FTA receiver DOES Have a front port for a Card or Bootstrap.

Sorry, but it is 100% pure BS. DTV is not even sending the video packets for the HU card.

And you will not get DTV with an FTA either. DTV's video is encrypted, dish video is not.
