I am running 301.010, still P243, from the modded tsop and the rom 10 to 102 original penga patch. Can anyone help me out and point me in the right direction to update firmware and change back to an unmodded version? Thanks for any help.

Do I let the reeiver update through the stream, or do I need to go back and change back to original info, and then let it update?

If you are changing to the no mod rom 10 to 102, you will need to change your IRD# and BKs to match the nomod bin. You can let the receiver update as is, then change the numbers on the TSOP. Or, I would prefer to change the IRD# and BKs first on your present TSOP, then let the receiver update with those numbers so you know you have a good and clean TSOP after the update. Then program your card and watch TV. Good luck.

Thanks. Can I still use my same patch and just edit my boxkeys and ird on the card?

Edit your IRD# and BKs on your present modded TSOP to match the numbers on whatever no mod card bin you are going to use, probably IRD# 01 1C 74 6C. Then let the receiver update which will overwrite your modded TSOP to a clean TSOP.

Which no mod bin do you suggest? I have seen a couple and dont know whcih is best

They all use the same IRD# and BKs, so any of them will work. Once you have a clean TSOP with the public numbers, you can use any card bin you want. So if you want to try a different PUBLIC card bin, all you have to do is redo the card - dont have to mess with the TSOP.

So all I will need to do is update through the stream and use the public bin and change the ird and bk on the receiver? Which should I do first, for safety's sake?

Doesnt really matter, my preference would be to change the numbers in the TSOP now, let it update which will overwrite the mod giving you a clean TSOP with the correct numbers (since you already changed them). Or you can let it update first then change your TSOP numbers - your choice.
