Jeepers VERY slow (paused???)

I am trying to load MONSIEURFERY HITS BACK onto my atmega card with supplied Jeepers. Erased three times before "Full Monty". It began to load normally (i.e. 5 "bars" in no time) Now, 30 minutes later, it has only advanced one "bar".... 80 to go.
I don't know what to do at this point. Suggestions to help out would be very much appreciated.

Do the alternate chip erase 5 times and try again, sometimes it takes several attempts to empty the card

Can I just break in or disengage/disconnect the card without damage?

shouldn't be aproblen to close jeepers when its hung like that. one thing is that you have to make sure that you have your settings correct. i.e. 18.00 hrz or 18.432 hrz. I noticed that htis makes a big difference when downloading.

Thanks, sunnybono, did as suggested, went to 18.000MHz....everything great.
