havingnproblems updating recievers

i esrace sectors on both units program atmega no pic
put new tsop no pic
i even let unit sit for 2mins with cable in from bird
still no pic
need help fast

Are you hitting the correct sector of the TSOP to force the update? I assume you have a lock of some kind and that it is turned off when you put the IRD back in the stream. Once you have erased the correct sector turned the lock off and restreamed the IRD be patient and leave it do it's thing for 20 -30 mins if you need to. It should start to blink (the green light on front) and once it's stoped blinking you should be good to go, but do leave it alone for a minimum of 15 mins plus. That's the simple stuff anyway, hope that helps. Good luck.

Last time I did my reciver had to write virgian to take update. Takes about 10 to 20 minutes the first time I modified woundn't update good luck.

BTW, are you running a fix that requires you to edit the tsop once updated through the sectore erase methode or are you running No RSA?

if your doing satvia's no rsa fix , don't forget you need either a virgin eeprom image , or you need to virginise your eeprom image , and flash that back to your reciever .
