Ok, I know this is the most basic of questions and I am just starting to
test this FTA stuff. so here's the question.
what exactly does SCRAMBLE CHANNEL mean, as the screen is black.
I have done some reading and a fix states you erase the channels and
autoscan and the channels will come back. TRUE?, FALSE?
How do I get these channels back, PPV is gone as well as some regular channels.
Again thanks for helping someone just starting out...
Cheers

you picked an interesting time to start out.....at this time nothing is available for fta to restore those channels....(assuming bev is your worry).....stand by and see what the lads come up with to help us out.....plastic is back in some configurations but time will tell how it well they hold.....this is a major attempt to bring down fta once and for all, or at least alot of the rcvr models in use now...

Yes, in addition you have to tell us which receiver you have, because some said that NEUSAT receivers are already working with beverly (please, do not believe me, I use Fortec and NO beverly at all)!!!!

We are just passing a transitional stage, I use my CS5000 for 91w, 110w and 119w.
Beverly indeed is missing many channels, so you rely on the other birds to make up the diffecence... LOL
I have been testing through the weekend, seems that most of the PPV channels are Scrambled and many Local Beverly channels as well.
We need to wait for a new bin to be released....
Patience....
Does anyone know if the CS5000 can pick up StarChoice ?
