I bought an old tivo ptv300 for $5 just to strip the hd out, and I noticed
it has a lifetime sub. It works, but the clock was running 15 minutes fast.
I let it dial in to fix the clock and update. Do I have to contact tivo to let
them know I am the new owner? I just want it for manual recording and
don't care about the guide. If the clock stays accurate, I won't have to dial
in again.I had to change the dial-in number to a local number, so they can
tell it is now being used in a different location.
