MY CS 5000P is now up & running

by entering the keys manually (8282) my system is up and running:


Key0, Enabled, E8 70 B0 0A 8E 0A 3D C5 >>>10
Key1, Enabled, F3 59 C3 5F 1A DA 19 5C >>>11
Aux0, Enabled, 71 9C 60 71 04 C1 39 AE >>>20
Aux1, Enabled, 88 FF F0 5E D2 4C F3 FC >>>21

I'm a newbie at this, so I hope this helps. I don't know if it will work for B3V as I only have DICKNET

In order to change your codes manually with the Coolsat 5000 enter 8282 this will bring you to your code page. Now enter the numbers using the number pad, but to use letters press the info button, this will change your letters.

The new codes work with the Coolsat 5000, I was up and running right away.

ok, this is my first time trying to reprogram, and i am a little stuck, i can get into the main program screen by entering 8282, when i get there i see on the top left corner "KEY EDIT" then under that it says "1 Nagravision"
then under that it says "CAS" beside that is "Nagravision"
under "CAS" is "IDENTITY" beside that is "DISHNET (0001)
under "IDENTITY" is 10 beside that is my first code (E8 70 B0 0A 8E 0A 3D C5 ) UNDER 10 IS 11 and beside that is (F3 59 C3 5F 1A DA 19 5C)
under 11 is 20 and beside that is (71 9C 60 71 04 C1 39 AE )
under 20 is 21 and beside that is (88 FF F0 5E D2 4C F3 FC )

now is that right? sorry if i am all over, but thats what the screen looks like for me, and it still never came back up, please help, cause i am new and extremely lost, thx

Draidon:what you have done looks right. Keys are correct and in the right spot.There must be something else wrong possibly your settings.

Remeber to turn off the auto roll function.Press menu and then installation and the autoroll option is at he bottom right on the menu screen.Turn off the autoroll for dish,but if you are also running b3v,leave it at the on position as the keys are still rolling for b3v,for how long nobody knows.

I currently get about 200 channels which aren't the ones i'm looking for. I loaded the recent keys into nagrivision 2 on channel 8282. I have the NORW-Ver1.097p bin file loaded. Where am I going wrong here?

load the new 1.21 bin and rescan and you are done. it works beautiful.

I ended up with the same situation... no ppv. I loaded the 1.2 software, turned off the autoroll, loaded the correct keys, and did both a blind and auto scan. However, i'm getting the same channels still. Help Please!!!!

Same here....no Porn, PPV hit and miss (I have the Red Carpet PPV, nothing else)

Are u only getting like 250 channels? I can't tell that any of the ppv are activated...

im running 1.21 and I cant get PPV or VENUS with autoroll on.. everything else works.. whats going on here?

Hye don't thank me. I'm a newbie at this & like a lot of mod's repeat over & over again, you got to read & read & read. I only learned from reading this forum and other forums to get a grasp at this sometime expensive game, which most people don't have the patience for. But nevertheless, always glad to help whenever I can.

Should i be able to get hbo and showtime and things like that? Cause I'm getting like the infomertials and news stations and a few other standard cable-like channels. The autoroll should be turned off right? Someone please help me out here. I've read everywhere and tried everything i can and can't get a channel i'm interested in watching. Thanks...

Which sat are you pointing at? 110 is mostly ppv and 119W has regular channels, plus hbo and showtime. There are a few ppv on this one around 3 or so.

Do a factory reset, load new bin file, set receiver to scan the correct sat and then do an auto scan.

I am new to this about 3 weeks and am very happy with the receiver, well except for the electronic guide.

I believe you do a factory reset.....AFTER.....you load the new bin. Worked for me!

Does it really matter if you do the reset after you load the bin? I have done it both ways on 2 receivers. the guide doesn't update past 2 hours in advance.
