I'm new at all this but was considering giving it a try on entering the new keys for the FTA it's a Viewsat one.

Ok here the info I was going by and yes I did search and read but still need some help...lol

Ok heres the info,
How To Enter Keys Manually In Your Viewsat

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Menu
2.Installation
3.Enter Pin
4.Code
5.Nagra
6.Left 3 times and u will see Dish
7.Go to Line 08 and enter 1st key and line 09 for second key.

Keys are the following

F1-A
F2-B
F3-C
F4-D
Button below 9 (Circle Arrow) is E
Text button is F

Ok I went by all that but my problem is where it says go to line 08 and enter 1st key and line 09 for second key. Ok the only problem is I went to line 08 and it already has the new code that is posted for the first key but also the problem I see is that the first key is taking up both line 08 and line 09.

So how is it possible to enter the whole key there and than enter a different key in line 09, because from what I'm looking at the keys seem to have 32 letters/numbers in them and line 08 and line 09 only have 16 each so 32 together.

Like I said I'm new at this but am I overlooking something? Anyway not sure I understand exactly where to put the keys at I guess (and this is manually) but I thought I would ask and see if anyone might be able to help me understand this part a little before I did something completely wrong...lol

Thanks for any help,

08 and 09 is the first key 1/2 in each line
88 ans 99 is your second key
2 lines for 1 key

So do I enter E870B00A8E0A3DC5F359C35F1ADA195C under 08 and 09 than enter 719C607104C139AE88FFF05ED24CF3FC under 88 and 99?

Was confusing because the way it said it the thing that I was reading it said go to line 08 and enter first key and line 09 and enter second key so I wasn't sure.

Thanks for the help, one last thing could you tell me what the text button on the remote is because I don't see one and it says the text button is the F button?

Thanks again,

Got it figured out now it was the help button, I was mainly just being cautious since I haven't really messed around with any of this that much at this point.

Thanks again for the help,

I did enter the code and haven't checked every channel but everything seems to be working.

Thanks,
