There is a new update for RomCode users that addresses the change in key roll. Just use the live update button in the software and program as usual.

The claim it will autoroll again. Have not tried it myself, but they say they are up and running folks.

Kinda makes me wonder, they went down just like the public fixes did .....hmmmmmmm........wonder just how much better theirs is than the free stuff.

From the time my wife informed me ours was down, till we had it back up, was 10 minutes tops. using all publicly available stuff.

prob. no differance at all. I have always been fan of public files w/ private, (sub) numbers. best way to go b/c usually you don't have to wait as long for updates when ecm's strike.

did the update , i got the your receiver is not authorized etc. it keeps blinking back and forth to the black screen , and this message , as if trying to roll the keys. it's been over an hour , and no luck. anyone had any luck so far ?

Ok, I just re-updated and re-programmed. Working fine here on a 510.

well , i downloaded the update , reloaded etc. , but all i get is the error message , # 005 , your smart card is not currently authorized....................then to black screen ...and so forth ...ad nauseum . i did it last night , and again tonight . same result. i can't find anywhere to contact them , so i guess it's off to bug mili. not what i had hoped for. anyone else having this problem ? [ using a 2800 receiver ] .

I dont have romcode blocker, but how good is it compared to the regular blocker...is it really that much better??? I use the v22.

I think the advantage to RomCode is the ease of programing. The RomCode programmed cards have gone down every time the public ones have so far.

Rob24_365 sooooooo ..i went back and did the update , with nothing new. i tagged the receiver , to make sure that i didn't mess up. the ird and bk were correct as given to me by romcode. i reprogrammed the card [ succesfully ] and still get the 005 nag. i haven't heard from romcode yet. they advertised afew hours , but 3 days ??? anyone else with an idea ? thanks.

Are you using a rom 101 card? I have 8 on romcode and are doing the same thing. Not autherized to veiw. No way to get a hold of romecode and seems there are no answers from anybody. So much for several hour update. Looks like it might be several days.

i am using a 102 , but tried everything i could think of. then , in desperation , i upgraded my tsop on my receiver [ 2800 ] then changed the ird and boxkeys as per romcode , and i got it working . i did this with 3 units. all is fine . why , i don't know. the only thing i see common , is that they all had blue rom 10's before . maybe ???????? however , no reply from these people is what i got as well. THAT is what i find very disturbing !!!

Mine is working fine as of yesterday. I did a live update, and reprogramed my two cards and they work. Mine are married ex subs using the original numbers.

mili said a few days ago that the romcode people told him not to use it at this time....he has yet to say why or give an update on when we can use them again...

I Used live update. Cleaned card 2 times. I don't know if i need to clean it 2 times or not, i just always do that. One thing about cleaning it 2 times is that on the second clean you can see that it is cleaned back to rev. 103. Then i make click on cam settings type in user name if not already there. Highlight user name, click on cam refresh and in a moment or two you will see the cam or cams that are registered. I check mark use private bin, change to my local city for locals below ch. 100, click save. Then in the drop down box i click my local patch instead of the super 3m tier patch. That way i get all channels including what ever locals i can get in my area. Then click program card. You will have to hit ok a time or two when the popup screens come up. then after program says card programmed successfully, i open N2edit beta 7 and click on card, then read card. it will fail to read card of course. That way i have double checked that my romcode software private blocker is installed.
