rom 102 local's help

when you program a 102 how do you change the local's to what you need

well i'm useing a bin that was allready made a bin with P. R local's I installed it last night after the hit . so can you tell me how to change to fl local's

I don't know if this is the best way to do it but here is what I did.
First I programmed card and made sure it got all my channels..ppv..
then I channeled up the program guide to see what locals it had on it.(northfork, VA) on mine. So I looked up the max limit on norfork and used find to see what lines the min ...max were on.
then I changed them to my local min...max
then change blackout string...set tz
wrote card!!! All locals in and I don't have some locals for northfork or some other city on my list.:eek:

How do you get it the ROM102, too work? I have tried to use avirgin card (Rom102 Rev103) several times, but still get the nag "The the smart card is not authorized to view or purchase" even though the updated to Rev107.

I'am by no means any expert on the matter. I did come up with the no sub or something like that when I first put in the card but I let it set for a minute and it popped right in.
I unlocked card.
read card... save image...
wrote virgin bin.....loaded gopher program....clean space....
applied blocker....switched blackout, tz, tiers,(note I already knew where the locals were at), double checked password...wrote card
try read card to make sure it is locked and put in ird.

next thing I know I'am watching tv!!!!:D

when i program my rom 102 it is at rev. 103, then after programmed it goes to rev. 105. Don't know for sure, but maybe that is your problem. after you program card, use N2edit beta 7 to try and read card. If it fails to read then you know your blocker is on. If it reads it, then that may be where your problem lies. Just a thought. hope it helps. I am using Romcode software. Error free so far. Only had to update software the other night and reprogram card. Only down just a short while. If you can afford it try Romcode software.

there is plenty of information around on how to do this. you just have to read. hijacking someone elses thread is not appropriate. if you cant find your answer start your own thread.
