Most likely ran those firmware updates and now they can spool the new ECM again. Say goodbye to FTA, Atmega, ROM10/11 and AVR-X on BEV.

Hey Mili and (AVRX man, if your still watching)

Mili I know that you said that they would be updating BEV firmware on receivers, but this is what i have noticed with my 6000 since it stopped working on March 24th with the avrx

1) My firmware has not changed, it is still E531
2) I used to have a red guide (like the tiers had expired) right now i have a normal guide and have full audio on all channels, but no picture
3) I guess this ecm has changed things for the better with the 6000 receiver, (not much better, it still doesn't work completely, but it works a little better)

Just wanted to let you know just incase the avr-x man was still watching

That's what was said before that some form of plastic would most likely be needed with a FTA set. For the most part the majority of FTA out there now can't do this.
So barring some sort of major discovery FTA in general is over.
