problems modding 420

i have a jtag purchased from mrwhites with a pin headers soldered to mrwhites colored wire instructions. i have been working on this 420 for 3 months or so on and off. my problem is getting jkeys to recognized the receiver. getting x000000 or x0ffffff or different device id not the getting 0x3d4cb041. tried 2 different computer and laptop. purchased new parallel port,played around with voltage and adapters with no luck. used jkeys pgm 1.03 to 2.9.10 with no luck. any suggestions appreciated thanks
my last resort is to get someone in toronto to mod it for me so i can see what i am doing wrong or to find out if it is my equipment thats faulty.
rob make sure that the wires are soderd correctly red wire pin1 wrie #2 gose on pin#4 wire#3 gose on pin #3 wire#4 gose to pin#5 wire#5 gose to pin #6 and wire#6 goes to pin#2 good luck......

Don't forget the ground and BFR connections.

rob3lk, open jkeys and go into file menu then preferences. switch the little dot to parallel port and 0x378 and try jkeys again.
