EMM Type to Pass 9040-904F
I notice the code to pass whatever Emms I want with 6000 IRD being EMMS $9040=42A1A2A3A4A5A6A7A8A9000000000000

Can anyone give me the code for the ViP 211 /411?

If you could put the code while programming a 6000 so that it would THINK ITS A 211/411 in theory it seems you could receive UniversalHD, ESPN2, 5 Voom Channels and probably more that are ACTUALLY MPEG2 but coded so the 6000 cannot see them.

You clearly could not decode the true MPEG4 channels with the 6000, but the others are MPEG2 that the 6000 will handle easily.

Don`t think allowing EMMs would help as even sub cards that pass all EMMs cant receive the mpeg2/4 channels. The new channels have a mpeg4 header so the receiver will not recognize them. Probably would need a way to mod the TSOP to accept the mpeg2 that is encoded as mpeg4.

Actually, they are not calling them MPEG4. They have a different header for the REAL h.264 channels...like the HD-LIL. The "fake" mpeg4 channels have a different code just so they will not show up in a 6000 (or 811 or 921/924 for that matter).

I could be wrong, but I would like to at least give it a try as the stream is clearly mpeg2 and the header makes no reference to mpeg4 - so its just a matter of letting the 6000 "see the channel" as available.

I mean the header in the stream, not the banner. The receiver sees the mpeg4 header flag and will not allow the channels to be seen or decoded. One would need to modify the firmware service type filter to accept the header code. Beyond me, but good luck.
