I read in another post that free tv is not expected to last much longer..
Then In a much earlier post I read where it was reported in the news media that the manufacturers of free to air recievers were the ones that are responsinle for us being able to hack dish and bell. With that in mind would it not follow that they would alter their receivers to unscamble whatever data stream dish and bell go to ,especially since money /sales are at stake here for those guys ??
I keep getting asked which people should buy dish /bell receivers or FTA recievers ,I only program dish and bell ,and never owned fta ..
Just wondering what everyone else thinks .

Nagra 2 has been wide open for 9 months now. If Bev hasn't had Charlie's baby by now she never will. LMAO Said another way, they haven't been able to do anything yet.

Well you know some would tell you that plastic was cracked before fta got there paws on it, and only then were they able to make fta work. I have some fta units but as of right now seems original box's with plastic might be a better purchase if thats what your asking.

Yes, I agree. Plastic may very well be the only thing that works in the near future.
We'll just have to wait and see.
