501 10to102 remary the hard drive

i have a dish 501 with no mods was trying to get it up with the 10to102. iam at p309 (its the latest firmware if those # are wrong) and trying to use rom10torom102-AutoRoll no RSAAllInOnepatch V3.7 fix. Now I am getting the harddrive error from what I assume is due to the fact i put in the diff box keys and ird info into my tsop and now it is unmarried. Any help on how to fix that.

I am also not getting anything but a black screen on all channels but the freebies like the dish info and the ilk. I am assuming i messed the keys up along the way, but i thought it auto rolled. i dunno. took me all night to finally get the card and ird to line up so if any ideas there feel free to offer.

I think the card is set up to use RSA dt08 commands to decrypt video, you need to use Session Key to decrypt video. with a program called Gendt08_SK 3.3 you can keep all of your original receiver info and still make that card work. it will save you from having to remarry harddrive.

i tried it first but ran into the problem of invalid card. i lost the original copy of my card and i am using a bin i found somewhere. is there a way to get a cam that will work with gendt

you need to virginize your flash 2 and eeprom.. once harddrive marries then you can reload your current flash 2

Would appreciate if you could send me a copy of your flash 2 of P309... they are only updating a few receivers to P309... mine isnt one of them

To fix hard drive problem,open you current flash 2 in flash edit and then click save as virgin eeprom. Now write the virgin eeprom flash. Location A1 in the eeprom flash has to be FF to format/remarry the drive.
