I get only blank screen, please help!

Hi, last May 28th I bought 10 credits, but program is not working, I will explain that I did:

I did click Manage Cams

I registered my cam signature.I launch RomCode with my unlocked card inserted into my ISO programmer.I have installed Microsoft.Net V1.1.

I did click the "Live Update" button and RomCode downloaded latest updates to the 3M, Tiers or the RomCode software. May 25th 2006 01:40 am

I did double click the Cam Signature, right click and copy.

I did go back to the Manage Cams page and click register next to an unused CAM.

I did right click into Cam Signature field to paste my CAM Signature. Named my CAM and click Register.

I did click the "Cam Setup" button in RomCode, entered my Username and Password that I have registered with on www.romcode.com and click on "Add User"

I did select my account in the "User Accounts" box and click on "Refresh CAM list" to see my registered CAM(s).

I closed the CAM Setup window.
I did click the "Settings" button, check the "Use Private BIN" option and click "Save".

I did Select "3M Dish/BEV" from the "Tier Patch" dropdown.

I did Click the "Program Card" button.

I opted to use your Private BIN then you did get a popup with a disclaimer and programed my card. Once completed I did get another popup with the IRD and Boxkey. I Wrote these down now.

Then I did click OK.


Next step I did use jKeys

I did use jKeys to save my TSOP flash.

I did Open Flash Edit

I did select my IRD's model from the "Model" drop-down.

I did browse for my own ird tsop file (the one I just saved with Jkeys a few months ago) and I did click on "Advanced"

I did change IRD#(HEX) to the one we have provided by you.

I did change Box Keys to the one we have provided you with.

I did "Check" on Fix CRC

I did click on "Save As..." to save my modified TSOP flash.

I did Use jKeys to write the new modified TSOP to my IRD.

but after hours I only get blankscreen , only freechannels 101,500, etc. My 301-013 IRD upgraded to p342.

Please help me? Can you send me a programed tsop bin?

what is the build of your rec.,sholuld be a little square sticker,inside rec..Should be near the front,you'll have to look,through the little slits in the top of rec.

Did you get it going yet ? If you didn't follow Knight4ever and my post's here http://www.dssftp.com/forum/t60207-510-success.html , make sure this part is correct. I'm assuming that you got the card programmed correctly.

One thing i noticed was that you did not mention saving a virgin eeprom in flashedit and write that back to the receiver. Either that is your problem or when in flashedit select as your receiver the 301.013 with moved ird info. Also in an earlier post that is now made into a sticky that i wrote, check either 1FFF40 OR 3 FFF40. Something in there needs to be checked. It is very late for me after working a 12 hour shift. If you can't fix the problem, please post back and i will try to write a post that should solve your problem. I have used romcode in a 510 dvr vid mod down to a 508 dvr. Also did a 2800 and a 301.013. this week i will be doing a 301.010.

Can you help me? Did you have a instruccions step by step?

Open your modded IRD flash in hex workshop. Go alll the way to the bottom to location 1FFF40 or 3FFF40 see if your IRD and box keys are at either of those location's, if it is you'll need to put FF's in those location's. Then you'll need to go to line 1FFFC0 or 3FFFC0 and put in your IRD and box keys in those locations. Close and save the file. Then go into Flash edit and open file you just modded, you should see your IRD and box keys, click on fix CRC, save file as personnal dump. Then you need to make a virgin EEPROM file using the same file and flash edit. Open the same file you just saved and the click on save as virgin EEPROM .
Now go back in to jkeys and erase flash at least 3 time's then write flash, then write EEPROM. Then read and save EEPROM with a new file name. Open hex work shop and compare the virgin EEPROM to this one they should be the same if they are not then the flash did not take and you'll have to do it again. Let us know if this work's

Hi, I finally fixed blank screen, I downloaded again romcode loader, and I am watching tv!

Please if you have same problem check on your romcode loader, if you have:

DATA.HEX DATE: 02/05/2006 <------ IT NEED BE 25/05/2006 ON THIS TIME

THEN YOU WILL NEED TO REDOWNLOAD ROMCODE LOADER.

I have the same problem , but my card is streem locked or dealer locked, rev 105 , i dont have a unlocker ,only an iso programer, what should i do ? i cant reprogram card now.

Run N2Edit Beta7.. Go to Tools->Unlock Card

Thank you so much for the info, it worked for me, i first put in the 799-- number , it gave me a error, without reading the card, i put in A9C--- it also gave me an error, i tried the last nomber C8C--- and it gave me an orror ...so i read the card to check and see what happend to the card ..and it opened, So even if you get an error try reading your card,it will open ,then write a virin bin and your back to rev 103

i dont no witch one worked but i am very appreciative of KIKIw for sharing this info ...

ok now that my cards unlocked. What did you mean by the Version 4.06f having a problem with the time ,
i can not change the time in hex and my romcode is set for mm/dd/yyyy ex: 5/25/2006 not 25/5/2006.
is ther something you can help me with on that... i have programed my card again using a new romcde download and im still geting 005 nag card not authorized, well over an hour now! my cam is registered and the instruction are easy.. What do you think ?
