Error using N2Edit

Hi guys - omce I start N2Edit and click either "reset card" or "read card" it gives back an ATR, but then I get a Windows error box stating "An unhandled exceptionn has occured in your application.....index and length must refer to a location within the string. Parameter name: length".
Any idea what this means and how to correct it? Thanks.
