Newbie questions, How come there is such a difference in cost between the Nexus and the Milikobu unlockers. With an unlocker do you still need an ISO programmer? How about a JTAG programmer, I need that to back up the TSOP, right? I have a 301.013 receiver and since I was using the AVR-X method, the cable connected to the unit, will that help me for programming? Any help is greatly appreciated.

yea im also wondering if i need an iso programmer to program my card or can i just use an unlocker like the mikobu to program my card.n00b here just switching over from atmega to rom102

edit:

i just read in another thread that you need both an unlocker, and an iso programmer, but if you go here and see this package

https://dssftp.com/xcart/product.php?productid=68

it just includes an unlocker and says "a Nexus unlocker to program the card or to unlock it if blockers will be eliminated".

the package doesnt include an iso programmer,so whats the deal,i'm confused

with a program called nagramaster, loader edition you can program with a unlocker, this is a fairly new concept which is why you may see confilicting post about it.

any modified loader that is capable of unlocking a card can be used as far as I know. I am not very familiar with the program, but I certain any loader that will unlock cards will work.
