Armulator ??? Milli??

What are the chances of you selling these devices?

They kept working right through this latest Charlie hash.

Well I was recently aproached by them offering a new version called ROMulator. Negotiations are in place. They sent me this so far:

-Wireless: No ribbon cable. No firmware modding. Use Dish latest firmware with your own IRD#/boxkeys.
-IRD module used to communicate with receiver firmware and handle session key protocol.
-Card: 2M of memory for bin storage. Runs at 3x18MHz clock speed. Noribbon cables or connectors. IRD door closes.
-Implements RSA/IDEA/DES/SHA-1 with plenty of codespace for future developments. User can load their own ROM102 bin.

I am told I will be getting a sample sometime next week. This may be all bullshit but you never know. If it is indeed true then the Armulator people did some serious upgrade to their card with this ROMulator one.

My post was not for advertising, I only posted what i read on rom10x. I had never heard of it and was curious whether anyone had heard of it.

So, Mili, are you saying that the Armulator peeps have approached you with the possiblity of distributing the clone brother ROMulator? In other words, they are making two different boards? Pics seem to be the ugly sister of the AVRX. Not trying to be a dick, but if you can say that this is made by the Arm peeps and not Magician, you will sell a hell of a lot more product.

I was told by some very reliable sources that the ROMulator and Armulator are made by different folks. And that the ROMulator doesn't have the same abilities as the Armulator.

I agree with Caddy as far as the Magician, if he has his hand in the ROMulator I will stay away from that.

**I got bit by the Magic card fiasco, and don't want to go down that road again.

The Romulator is not an upgrade by the Armulator makers. It is a separate board by a different maker.

Jesus you know what? I am sick of you assholes being fixated on the Magician. Fuck you all.Who the FUCK cares who makes what if the fucking thing works as advertised? I will not tell you shit. If I have something and you want it you buy it. If you don't want something you don't buy it it is that simple. I will NOT tolerate any shit aimed at armulator romulator avrx atmega romcode etc any fucking provider's product on my site and will start banning with extreme prejudice. You may post feedback on any of them that is all. No links, no advertisements but personal experiences with any of the working products. So carl 2 post wonder you are the first one to be banned. The rest of you this site will not tolerate talk down on any working products but will allow simple unbiased damned feedback. I don't know the armulator people I don't know the romulator people all I know is email addresses and minimal info. So bite me all. Thread closed.
