How to Factory Reset 2800 IRD??

Hi Folks,

I have a 2800 IRD which I have modded with various TSOP bins over and over.
I never saved the original TSOP bin file. I know the IRDs original IRD # which is on the back sticker, and I also know its original build config from the little sticker inside the board. But the question is How do I find out the original BOX KEYS.

I need to reset this box back to its original state so that my parents can put it under subscription.

Anyone has any ideas how to retrieve the original BOX KEYS? Please help....

Write the orginal tsop and eprom images back to the box. (you should have saved them before you changed the images. If you didn't, then you will have to find a virgin, unmodded image from the tsop bank and change the IRD and box keys)

I know that I can use a virgin image and using FlashEdit, enter my Original Build Config, enter the IRD # that is on the back sticker, check the CRC, and enter the BOX KEys and save a personal dump which is my TSOP image which I can Jtag .

BUT THE QUESTION IS WHAT DO I ENTER FOR THE BOX KEYS??????

ARE BOX KEYS MADE UP OF IRD # OR WHAT?

I want to restore my 2800 IRD to its original state. I dont have a back up of original bin file. I know the IRD # and Build Config from the Box, what should I use for the box keys. Can I make any box keys up? or NO...

I want to give this box to my parents to put it back in DN sub.

Please help....

You can't make up boxkeys.If you didn't save the image or wrote them down,they are lost.If you had another 2800 you could clone it no problem. The only possible fix could be trying to get a legit sub for the box.

I do have another 2800 box with the box keys. In fact I have its original TSOP bin file saved when it was under sub, but it has a build config of CSCA whereas the one I have lost has a Build Config of CBPD.
Not sure how the cloning would work?

I have an umodded / virgin TSOP image of another 2800 IRD with a Build Config of CSCA. I can edit this BIN file in FlashEdit and change the IRD # and Build Config to CBPA, but my question is What do I enter for the BOX Keys. I cant leave the box keys as is as this will make both my 2800 IRDs have the same box keys.

Please help me understand if my 2800 box with lost Original TSOP image can be restored back to original state or not.

There is gotta be a way of obtaining original Box Keys....
