one word answer NO!
check your 508 and see if it took new firmware which would be P-309
ALSO IT WOULD HELP IF YOU told us what you are testing with?
Not to much working other then 102 most blue cards are 80% gone, fta is mostly down, cant speak for atmega and avr but based on posts they are also down...

Sounds like a malicious packet worm to me. Delayed reaction eprom kill from last weeks ecm. Try to jtag it and let us know if it worked.

In the Past when ever the light just flases on the front it was always the eeprom ECM reflash the eeprom and it's back up, But i loose all my recorded programs, that ECM hasn't been in stream for a long time, it did take the 309 update
Whats 309 have, I was using rom10 to 102

Maybe you should try to restore your IRD to its original factory state. Rom 10 is no longer an option, you will need a 102.
