Time for me to try out the romcode blocker. Trying to determine if I should go with ex sub rom/recievers or if I can get away with keeping those on the shelf for now. I am contemplating putting the romcode blocker on a couple rom101's and trying to run them in noRsa modded 301.13's. Anyone running romcode blocker in a noRsa modded box, or does the tsop mod required for the romcode blocker differ enough that I'll have to rewrite the tsop's? Probably could get the answer with a bit of reading, but thought I'd just ask and see what others had to say anyway. Thanks.

I only changed IRD# and box keys to the ones they provide.

Okay, if I'm running satvia no rsa mod to the receiver that my delaer programmed the receiver with and an atemga that isn't working all that well lately; then if I got a rom 102 card that was open and unlocked, I could just hit one button with romcode s/w and it would program the card wide open? I have the box keys that the dealer programmed into the receiver. I also have the S# that is programmed onto the atmega. Is it as easy as adding the existing boxkeys and then programming the rom 102 with romcode? I have the unlocker and programmer. I'm ready to go, I just haven't done plastic since the hu days.

Sorry, forgot to mention, I have the receiver #, box keys and S # for my current setup. All 3 numbers were programmed to the receiver and atmega by the delaer. If I use romcode with a rom 102, can I just change the necessary info in that program to match what I have now and then one click, it works? Or am I missing some steps in between.

if you use the privates side of it that may work. If the rom 102 you have already has the correct numbers on it.
Since your ird is the atmega number you will have to jtag ird and change the ird and boxy keys.
There are probably some workarounds to this but it would be truly for a day of testing to be involved in that.
I dont know a work around but I think I could make it work if I wanted to. WHY would I if I was going to spend a Sunday afternoon doing that I would write my own bin and use private numbers without recode at all

So what is the IRD and BK's for the non-ex subbed romcode blocker set up? Maybe I'll get lucky and it will be the same as for the NoRsa mod.
