301.013 romcode

had a 301.013 with the no rsa mod on atmega and just switched to private rom code blocker with a 102 rev 103 got everthing set up and card programmed okay selected use private bin got the box keys and ird edited the no rsa tsop and wrote back to ird with virgin eeprom now i get preview channels but get the 005 nag on any other channel which is do not have authorization to view this channel anyone know what i did wrong. any help appreciated thnks

Open your flash with hex workshop and make sure your IRD and Box keys are at location 3FFFC0, they are probably at 3FFF40, if they are at 3FFF40 you have to move them to 3FFFC0 and FF them out at 3FFF40, then open the flash in flash edit and click on fix CRC, then save that and flash that to the IRD. I had this problem on my 301.13

i was helping with that 301.013 and when we opened it in hex workshop we could not find the line 3fff40 but the line 3fffc0 was there and it was mostly ffff's but not all of it i think it had four entires in it. can we just put the ird and boxkeys there and ffff out the rest of it.

Locate line 3FFF30 count over 16 bytes click it, bottom left box in hex work shop will tell you what location your at, you'll also notice it's the start of the IRD & box keys that rom code gave you. Put FF's in the next 14 bytes. then go down to line 3FFFC0 and put them there. then open flash edit and fix CRC. Save it and write to IRD

drwolf, could it be that when he choose his ird in the drop down box in flashedit he should have choosen 301.013 moved ird info? Just curious because it sounds like when you ff one line and move it to another line that had yhe choosen moved ird info first it might have saved him some trouble. Just a thought. I may be way off base here.

Thanks To Drwolf. Located Line With Ird And Box Keys, F`d Them.enter Ird And Boxkeys On Line 3fffco, With Hex Editor. Saved Reflashed Reciever. Tv Wide Open In 8 Mins.

I found that flash edit doesn't have a single tsop version for the 301.13 with moved info, it has it for the 2 flash version. Even if you pick the 301.13 2 flash version with moved info flash edit will change itself to the single flash version and the info will still be in the wrong spot. It was nice thinking on your part. But it was something that I tried already.
