program guide set for pacific, needs 2 be central. how do i change this?

pvr 501, rom 102...need to reset tz to central, currently pacific. also ck switch test didnt upgrade firmware, still at p304. just forget it? the tz thing bothers me a little, 2 hours behind, so i hope its easy to fix..any advice will be appreciated. lastly, video is choppy(i hope this word describes my problem) firmware update has no bearing on this right? not very cloudy anymore, but just maybe this is reason. thanx...peace

wrong build or old firmware could cause problems usualy if u set to ask for permision to update then turn off receiver for 20 min then turn on it should prompt ya there is a upgrade (im assuming yer useing sk) if yer useing a mod tsop for dt08 upgrade would need re moddedafter the update, if all else fails and yer good with jtag erase sa54 on both tsops and plug in to force a update :)

as for the time tzone every 102 image is a tad diffrent so whould have to know what file to help with tz location, useing public file?
